He is survived by: his wife Connie Guillory Clause of Lafayette; his children, Dr. David Clause (Hope) of Opelousas, Stanley Clause (Malinda) of Carencro, Daniel Clause (Sheila) of Carencro and Amanda Clause (Jennifer) of Tallahassee, FL; his stepdaughter Kristie Poirier of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Emily Clause, Laci Clause, Justin Clause (Kimberley) and Alex Clause; his stepgrandchildren, Ashlyn Poirier and Brooklyn Poirier; his great grandchildren, Lawson Patin, Laiklynn Clause and Lionel Clause; his brother Herman Charles Clause (Carlina) of Carencro; and his brother-in-law Kelly Domingue of Carencro. He is also survived by his family, and a hometown son.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
