He was predeceased by: his former wife Eva Dell Dugas; his parents, Edwin Dugas and Bella Breaux Dugas; his daughter Myra Dugas; and his sisters, Ann Girouard and Jane Boudreaux.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Froom Dugas of Lafayette; his daughters, Melissa Sonnier (Lee) of Lafayette, LA, Ranette Cuccio (Joey) of Lafayette, LA, Carmen Dugas of Lafayette, LA and Bridget Dugas of Lafayette, LA; his stepchildren, Lee Steward (Alma) of Scott, LA, Angela Alleman of Scott, LA and Katrina Hollier Johnson of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Amber Sonnier, Adam Sonnier, Taylor Dugas and Connor Dugas; his great grandchildren, Ashton Sonnier, Eva Lowry and Esther Lowry; and his caregivers, Renee Gauthreaux, Kathy Scott, Michelle Breaux, Jim, Margaret Gower, Teresa Watts and Love Organization. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
