It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joseph Bedore Sr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Tupper Lake, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Judson Bedore; his son James J. "Jimmy" Bedore II; his mother Margaret Duffy; and his siblings, Mary Bedore Bennett, Glen Bedore, Roger Bedore and Jerry Bedore.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Gail Primeaux Bedore; his son Timothy M. Bedore; and his grandchildren, Ethan P. Bedore and Madeline Claire Bedore.
