He was predeceased by: his mother Wilma Pauline Wilson; his grandparents, George and Bessie Mayes; and his aunt Sara Sue Mayes. He is survived by: his significant other Charlene M. Romero; his pet Zoe; his children, Christopher McBay (Angela) and Michele Miller (Charity Angelle); his brother Robert "Bob" Mayes; and his caregiver Megan Comeaux. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
