It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Hayden of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Oliver and Melina Oliver; and her sisters, Jeanette Bellon and Margorie Heard. She is survived by: her husband Eugene B. Hayden of Lafayette; her son Eugene Wayne Hayden (Jessica) of Fort Worth, TX; her grandsons, Tyler Hayden and Tanner Hayden; and her sister Margaret Guidry of Lafayette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
