She is survived by: her husband Gordon Bruce Thigpen; her children, Gregory James (Brittany Cobb), Megan Scoles (Ursel) and Susie Thigpen; her grandchildren, Paige Scoles, Piper Scoles, Ruby Thigpen and Ryan James Thigpen; her mother Maude Helluin; her siblings, Janis LeGros, Leslie Harless (Dana), Jay Helluin (Stella) and Jon Helluin; and her siblings' children, Tara LeGros, Brett, Kyle, Erin Harless, James, Christopher, Renee and Matthew Helluin.
