He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Roger and Euric Roger; his sisters, Janelle "Rose" Vincent and Annette Roger; and his siblings-in-law, Linda B. Roger and Daniel Lanclos.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda H. Roger of Scott; his sons, John Roger, Jr. (Nacona) of Scott, Joe Roger (Christina) of Carencro, Willy Roger (Tanna) of Carencro, Jacob Roger (Shelly) of Scott and James Roger (Nikki) of Duson; and his siblings, Ronald Roger (Darleen), Earl Roger (Michelle) and Jeanette R. Lanclos. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
