He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Edward Fisher and Leta Gilmer Fisher; his uncles, Walter Greenwood and Richard Clark; and his cousin Jerry Bates.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Neveaux Fisher; his children, Chris Fisher (Jana) and Natalee Rosso (Seth); his grandchildren, Owens and Colton; his siblings, Shawn Fisher, Michelle Jenkins and Cherry Fisher May; and his aunts, Johnnia Clark and Jean Greenwood. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of "John Hugh Fisher" to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org John will be laid to rest with his parents, Hugh and Leta Fisher, at the Gilmer Family Cemetery in Lobelville, Tennessee at a later date.
