He is survived by: his wife Linda Sassau; his daughter Kimberly Sampy (Jacob); his stepdaughters, Danielle Parker (James) and Dana Pete (Jonathan); his sons, Marcus Sassau, Aaron Sassau (Devon) and John Sassau Jr. (Veronica); his stepson Allen Thibodeaux (Robin Davis) of Lafayette, LA.; and his sisters, Dorthy Calais (Joseph), Yvonne Bernard (Eddy) and Mary Mczeal of Cecelia, LA.
