He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Rubendall; his wife Pansy Hilligarde; his father Theodore John Hilligardt; and his son-in-law Danny Dean. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Hilligarde, Mary Halbert (Thomas), Peggy Dean, Janice Johnson and Elizabeth O'Shaughnessy (David); and his grandchildren, Sarah Halbert, John Halbert (Kasee), Grace Powell (James), Leah Dean, Jack Dean, Evan Johnson (Sarah), Garrett Johnson, Olivia Johnson, Justin O'Shaughnessy and Anna O'Shaughnessy. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
