He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Joseph and Rosa Mae Tezeno Mouton; his siblings, Patsy Garrick, Tracy Lee LaGrange, Edward June Minix, Jr., Darrel Minix, Paul Mouton and Robert Mouton; his father-in-law Michael Sowards; and his grandmother-in-law Jay Connolly.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ann Sowards Mouton of Lafayette, LA; his children, Daneisha Mouton, Daniel Mouton, Kayla Mouton, Destinee Mouton, Taylor Harper, Trevin Charles, Trey Mouton, Kayliah Mouton, Madisyn Mouton, Joseph Earl Mouton, Jr. and Eli Mouton; and his grandchildren, Alaina, Nehemiah, Jr., Lylah, Andrea, Jasiah, Aries and Avyon. He is also survived by extended family, and the greatest friends.
