He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas William and Agnes Haydel O'Keefe; his wife Lois Cecile Stringe of Chicago, IL.; his sisters, Mary A. O'Keefe and Jean Friedrichs; and his grandchildren, Michael Barback and Molly Barback Mayeux.
He is survived by: his children, Carol (Lester Barback), Bobbie (Jim Dyer) and Scott (Susan O'Keefe); and his grandchildren, Beth (James Jarreau), Brad (Brittany Barback), Jodi (Jody Wood), Kristi (Parker Griffin), Patrick (Mairead O'Keefe) and Annie (Kean Jones). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
