She is survived by: her grandchild Chip; her husband Milton Laday Sr.; her children, Milton Leday Jr. (Valarie) of Geismar, David Leday (Mary) of Lafayette, Ron Leday (Tammy) of Lafayette, Nathan Leday of Lafayette, Windy Laday of Kennesaw, GA, Lisa Laday-Davis of Marietta, GA, Laura Laday-Jones (Scott) of Decatur, GA and Alisha Louis (Nicholas) of Lafayette; her siblings, Gerald Thomas Jr. of Lafayette, Mitchell John Thomas (Brenda) of Lafayette, Martin Thomas (Gloria) of Houston, TX, Ricky Christian (Dia) of Breaux Bridge, Charles Christian of Lafayette, Mary Rose Thomas of Lafayette, Judy Thomas of Tampa, FL and Mary Leday of Lafayette; and her grandsons, Ethan Davis, Nathan Jr. Leday, Naylon Leday, Seth Leday, Tyler Kelly and Traqualin Asberry. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
