He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jones and Kara Bell Mason; his adoptive mother Lula Griffin; and his brothers, John and Robert Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilkins Mason; and his children, Marquis Mason (Kelli), Katrina Green (Drae), Cornelius Mason and Timothy Mason (Rafaela).
Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Temple Church of God in Christ (200 Nona St, Leesville, LA 71446). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
