We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2024, at the age of 73, Karen C. Thomas of Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clayton Chelette and Clemence Chelette; her brother Gary Wayne Chelette; and her nephews, Blake and Jarod Chelette.

She is survived by: her husband Ricky Joseph Thomas; her children, Tara Thomas Nini (Jason) and Ross Thomas; her grandchildren, Parker Wiltz, Ethan Wiltz, Daylan Thomas, Ivy Wiltz, Hayden Thomas and Brooklyn Thomas; her brother Mark Chelette (Terry); her sibling's children, Clayton Chelette and Candice Chelette Pourciau (Jeremy); and also Devyn Chelette.

The family requests memorial and honoraria giving be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Louisiana, in memory of Karen.
