It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Savant of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Pine Prairie, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Onest Savant and Effie Gautreaux. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lafleur Savant of Lafayette; his son Neal Jude Savant (Ellen) of Breaux Bridge; his granddaughters, Alyssa Savant and Emily Savant; and his siblings-in-law, Preston Lafleur (Kathy) of Ville Platte and Bernita L. Stelly of Lafayette.
