It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Thomas of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Thomas Alexander and Leroy Robertson; his daughter Christina Marie Prejean; and his siblings, Warren Joseph Alexander and Rose Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Leroy Carmaine Thomas of Long Beach, Jermaine Prejean of Lafayette, LA, Denroy Prejean (Andolyn) of Duson, LA, Dontrella Thomas of Long Beach and April Prejean Anderson (Lavell) of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Carenzo Alexander (Mary Alice) of Lafayette, LA, Lester Thomas (Loubertha) of Lafayette, LA, Dale Thomas (Lynn) of Duson, LA, Delores Butler (Samuel) of Lafayette, LA, Doris Chaisson (late Harold) of Killeen, TX and Lois Alexander-Dickey (late Ernest) of Lake Charles, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
All attendees must wear masks or face coverings.
