Lona B. Sonnier Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 95, Lona B. Sonnier (Lafayette, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Russel Sonnier; her son Michael Sonnier; her parents, Edward Broussard and Annie Mae Broussard; her grandson Philip Sonnier; her brothers, Edward Broussard, Jr. and J. C. Broussard; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Broussard and Nettie Broussard.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Landry (Carl) of Duson, Charles Sonnier (Elizabeth) of Duson, Stephen Sonnier (Peggy) of Broussard and Robert Sonnier of Duson; her brother Roland Broussard; and her grandchildren, Nicole Street, Jamie Landry, Kevin Landry, Ashley Rodman, Jennifer Hines, Jeremy Sonnier, Rachel Dupre, Kirk Sonnier, Kristen Tolar, Kelly Viator and Daphne Gaspard. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
