He is survived by: his wife Emelda Randall Charles; his son Loomis J. Charles, Jr.; his nephews, Patrick A. and Raymond L. Charles (Stephanie); his siblings, Mary Ann Noel, Prenella Savoy (Robert) and Alton Charles; and his sister-in-law Lucille Charles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
