It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Ayo of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin Courville and Verna Courville; and her husband Jimmy. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Ayo (Helene) of Lafayette, LA and Jim Ayo (Suzanne) of Caddo Mills, TX; her brothers, Clifford Courville and Rolan Fontenot; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan, Michael and Katy; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Bryce, Grant and Kennedy.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (518 Ledoux St, Jennings, LA 70546).
