She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin P. Howze; and her siblings, Desmond, Buddy, J. E. Wilkes, Dessie "Koot" Bourque, Patty McKaskle, Jessie "Jackie" McCain and Jean Hewitt Camarasana.
She is survived by: her children, Damon Howze of Taylor, TX, Greg Howze (Melinda) of Lafayette and Joan Howze of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Holly Howze Perciful (RJ), Hailey Howze Daspit (Philip), Hillary Howze Turnage (Peter), Helena Howze, Andrew Howze (Lexi), Alex Howze, Anthony Howze (Kayli) and Eric Michael Trahan; her great grandchildren, Manon, Celine Daspit and Maureen Perciful; her sisters, Joyce Holloway (Carl) and Beverly Caples; and her caregiver April. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Delhomme's Chapel of the Flowers View. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
