She is survived by: her husband Shelton Amest; her siblings, Vanessa Jones (Kevin), Vernita Broussard (Gary), Randall Davis and Craig Calais; and her children, Cassandra Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA, Fabian Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA, Damon Amest (Regan) of Breaux Bridge, LA, Shanelle Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA, Appollonia Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA, Shelton Martel Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA, Mackenzie Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA and Breanna Amest of Breaux Bridge, LA. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
