She was loved and cherished by many people including: husbands: Joseph LaPointe and Clarence Webb, Sr.; children: Lorena Thomas (Sanders), Sheila Malbreaux, Wanda Savoy (Nelson), Bryan LaPointe (Lena), Patty LaPointe, Clarence Webb (Nahoma), and Linda Griffin; grandchildren: Derrick James; parents: Able and Laura Dugas; siblings: Sunny Dugas, Doris Sias, Allen Dugas, Leo Dugas, June Dugas, Gladys Bernard, Viola Stevenson, and Evelena Mitchell; others mentioned: Dwight Andrus, Andy, Reed, Dwight, Paul Thibeaux, and JJ Callier, Sr.; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous relatives, friends, and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Syrie Funeral Home, Inc. (1417 E Simcoe St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501).
