Marlene Ann Guidry Ducharme Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2020, at the age of 68, Marlene Ann Guidry Ducharme (Lafayette, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Guidry and Theola Marie Foreman Guidry; her parents-in-law, Lee Ducharme and Ruth Ducharme; and her brother-in-law Ken Hamilton.

She is survived by: her husband David Lee Ducharme; her children, Charles David Ducharme (Lucy) of Bossier City, Laura Leigh Ducharme Bares (Shawn) of Lafayette and Shawn David Ducharme (Melissa) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Wyatt, Hunter Burnette of Lafayette, Lucas, Jonah, Eric Ducharme of Bossier City, Jackson and Eli Ducharme of Lafayette; her siblings, James Chester Guidry (Linda) of Broussard, Fannela Faye Sandidge (Bo) of Plaqumine and Lynnette Ann Guidry of Lafayette; and her siblings' children, Allison Guidry, Clint Sandiage, Racheal Sandiage and Tiffanie Robicheaux.

The family would like to encourage everyone to remember Marlene in this time of grieving and will hold a memorial service after the pandemic is over.

In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make donations to Grace Hospice and or The Cancer Center of Acadiana in Marlene's name.
