She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Nell Scallion and Calvin Martin; her grandparents, Ray Scallion, Raford Scallion and Mary Helen Yeager-Scallion; her nephew Nathaniel Dorion Jr.; and her brothers, Alfred Alexander, Jr. and Donald Alexander.

She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Ann Alexander and Linda Marie Alexander-Mills; and her nieces and nephews, Joleen Dorion, Roshondellon Alexander, Adrienne Renee Alexander, Kendrick Dorion, Faith Alexander and Chadwick Alexander. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, and sisters and brothers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
