It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Virginia Wade of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Hoffpauir and Georgia "Tootsie" Hoffpauir; her husband Mike Wade; and her siblings, Olive Faye Hansen and A. J. Hoffpauir.

She is survived by : her children, Kyle Wade and Kara Wade; and her grandchildren, Wyatt Leonards, Amber Wade and Olivia Leonards. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
