He is survived by: his parents, Calvin Melancon and Joyce Melancon; his brother Chad Melancon (Tracey Arceneaux); his sons, Toby Melancon (Lauren Blanchard) and Zachary Viator; and his niece Tanna Guidry. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
