He was predeceased by: his parents, Clausey Batiste and Jeanette Batiste; his brother Albert Batiste; his son-in-law Clarence Zenon; his brother-in-law Herbert Watson; his grandson Landon Grogan-Zenon; his nephew Duriel Watson; and his sisters-in-law, Lillian Dupre and Ezola Broussard.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Batiste; his children, Donna Noel (Demetrius), Paulette Zenon (Clarence), Ramona Plumbar and Patrick Batiste (Lavonna); his siblings, Clausey Batiste Jr., Allen Batiste, Oscar Batiste (Patricia), David Batiste (Patrice), Rebecca Watson (Herbert), Roxanne Batiste (Frank) and Nancy Robert (Marcus); and his siblings-in-law, Gaston Broussard (Ezola), Wesley Broussard (Barbara), Russel Broussard (Barbara), Vivian Joseph (Floyd) and Marcella Grabeiel (Harrison). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen Great Grandchildren.
