She is survived by: her children, Terri Lynn Foti (Kim) and Larry Ainsworth (June); her grandchildren, Weston McBride, Mitchell McBride (Eryn), Eric McBride, William Barrett Ainsworth (Amanda) and Lauren Ainsworth Stone (Corey); her great grandchildren, Omar Doucet, Konner McBride, Kinlee McBride, William McBride, Greyson McBride, Reagan McBride, Makenzie Adelaide Stone and Jackson Rayburn Stone; and her siblings, Vernadine McDuffie Lee and James McDuffie.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Melba's name to Hospice of Acadiana.
