She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Herbert, Sr.; her parents, Alex Louis, Sr. and Celeste Chaisson Louis; her brothers, Alex Louis, Jr. of Robert Louis, M. D. and Walter Louis, Sr.; and her great grandchild Ava Herbert.
She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Herbert, Jr. (Lonese Herbert) and Jason Herbert, Sr. (Corinnee Herbert); her grandchildren, Juwan Cormier, Joshua Herbert, Alanna Herbert, Sydney Herbert, Jaden Herbert, Jason Herbert Jr., Aron Herbert and Kyle Herbert; her great grandchild Kai Russell; and her sister Mary Esther LaFontaine. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (818 12th St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
