He is survived by: his children, Milton Claude Zimmerman of Lafayette, Ashley Guidry of Duson, Laura Guidry of Lafayette and Jadi Hesner of Lafayette; his sisters, Theresa Babineaux (Edrick) of Breaux Bridge and Margaret Sedatol (Clinton) of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren, Chase Byers, Emlie Byers, Lexie Byers, Yuri Martinez, Kelvis Martinez, Rayna Martinez, Daijah Bruno, Zi'yah Bruno, Legend Bruno and Lakyn Guidry; his former wife Betty Girard of Lafayette; and his close friend Tiny Castille of Breaux Bridge.
