It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Fontane Laborde of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Hessmer, Louisiana, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Gene Laborde; her sister Marguerite Roberts; and her parents, Richard Fontane and Minnie Murphy Fontane. She is survived by: her children, Charlene Mullins (Doug), Diane Bullard (Dennis), Stephanie Stielper (Mark), Sandra Laborde Broussard, Louis "Bubby" Laborde, Richard "Todd" Laborde, William "Bill" Laborde (Andrea) and André Laborde; her grandchildren, Ashley, Aaron (Victoria), Carly (Jeff), Levon, Darby, Zachary, Taylor (Jeff), Baylee, Beth, Michelle, Amanda, Maggie, Austin, Hannah, Logan, Lauren, Kalin, Peyton and Audrey; and her siblings, Patsy Bordelon (Allen) of Sand Springs, OK and Darrell Fontane of Fort Collins, CO..
