She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Breaux Faulk and Lester Faulk; her siblings, Chester, Julie, Patsy and Marie; and her son Paul.
She is survived by: her spouse JJ Burdin; her stepchildren, JJ Burdin, III (Candice) and Claire Alvarado (Danny); her granddaughters, Ava, Elena and Colette; her nephews, Tommy Faulk (Gretchen), Jeff Faulk (Karen), Mike Faulk (Flo) and Billy Faulk (Kristi); and her goddaughter Monique Hoffmeister (Jules).
