She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Richard Latiolais; and her parents, Perry "Black" Vallot and Janelle Marie Comeaux. She is survived by: her daughter Yvette Lavergne (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Allie Lavergne (Avery), Katie Lavergne and Maggie Lewis; and her sisters, Ann Coleman (Randy), Carita Vallot, Joette Roper (Craig) and Kim Vallot (Scott).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A rosary was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
