He is survived by : his wife Rose Simon Griffin; his daughters, Lena Griffin Sellers of Lafayette and Dedrena Griffin Pinckney (Ron) of Stockbridge; his grandchildren, Kemani, Kaycee Sellers, Daniel and Danielle Pinckney; his siblings, Mary Alice Elaire of Lafayette, Delores Griffin of Lafayette, Marilyn Bernard of Lafayette and Paul Elaire (Gert) of Port Arthur; and his godchildren, Glo August, Jasmine Elaire and Marlon Woods Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
