She was predeceased by: her husband Eddy Strother Sr.; her daughters, Cathy Fuselier and Michelle Strother; and her sons-in-law, Weber Parent (Diddie) and Ronald Fontenot.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Fontenot, Eddy Strother Jr. (Carolyn), Barbara Parent, Marc Strother (Sandy) and Phillip Strother (Rhonda); her grandchildren, John Hollier, Brooke Hollier Mayeaux, Clint Strother, Will Strother, Guy Parent, Brian Parent, Dustin Parent, Cori Strother Reppond and Jenny Strother; and her niece Danielle. She is also survived by brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law, and many other nieces and nephews.

Nicole's wishes were to have donations made in her behalf either to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
