He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Vidyadhar Akkaraju, MD. He is survived by: his mother Parvathi Akkaraju; his sisters, Vyshali Grote and Haritha Vasat; his brothers-in-law, Keenan E. Grote and Peter S. Vasat; his nephews, Kieran, Devin and Aethan; and his niece Elina.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the charity of your choosing in his memory.
