He was predeceased by: his parents, Ogden U. Thomas, Sr. and Dorothy Garvin Thomas; his brother William "Bill" Thomas; his parents-in-law, Marie Armato Morella and Anthony S. Morella; and his brother-in-law J. P. Morella.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Morella Thomas; his children, Michele Thomas Boustany (Ron Boustany) of Lafayette and Scott Anthony Thomas (Dominique Besse Thomas) of Patterson; and his grandchildren, Gracie Boustany Barnidge (Beau), Sarah Michele Boustany, Thomas George Boustany, Ross Jacob Thomas and Rhett Underwood Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Patterson (1111 Lia St, Patterson, LA 70392). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Patterson (1011 1st St, Patterson, LA 70392). A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Patterson (1011 1st St, Patterson, LA 70392).
