Olite Arceneaux Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 29, 2022, at the age of 96, Olite Arceneaux of Lafayette, Louisiana, born in Rayne, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lionel Arceneaux; her daughter Phyllis Arceneaux; her aunt Louise; her uncle Vinton; her sisters, Rita Flood and Evelyn Johnson; and her half-siblings, L. J. Leger, Betty Jo Gaspard, Eva Dell Broussard and Rose Mary Leger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Wood (Glenn) of Savannah and Annelise Petry (George) of Richmond, Virginia; her grandchildren, Denise Sutter (Scott) of Scotts Valley, Jennifer Wood of Savannah, Joshua Petry (Michelle) of South Korea and Zachary Petry of Richmond, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Alexandra Sutter, Jackson Sutter, Avery Baughman, Nicholas Sutter, Elijah Petry and Jamie Petry; and her great great grandchild Daniel Dapkus.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Mrs. Arceneaux and her beloved little daughter, Phyllis, who preceded Mrs. Arceneaux in death in 1969 at the age of 6.
