He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bessard Wright; his sons, Michael Charles Wright, Jr. (Portia) of Mobile and Christopher Mark Wright of Lafayette; his granddaughters, Maiyah LaCandice of Mobile, Laniece Michelle of Mobile and Zoey Sade of Mobile; his siblings, Murphy Calvin Wright Jr. (Phyllis), Marcus Isaiah (Hiawatha), Mervin Foster (Sharon), Carolyn Teel, Catherine Donaldson (Ronald) and Myra Allen; his uncle Minor Wright; his aunts, Marian Wright and Marcedell Joiner; his father-in-law Marion Bessard Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Marion Bessard Sr. (Karla), Allen Bessard (Elizabeth), Anthony Bessard (Jackie), Michael Bessard, Carl Bessard, Preston Bessard (Ingrid) and Orelia Bessard.
