He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Etienne Sr. and Lorena Girouard Etienne; his brothers, Joseph Freddie Etienne Jr., Paul Orlin Etienne and James Dennis Etienne; his siblings' children, Stacy Malveaux, Kara L. Prejean and Brad Elliot Malveaux; and his sister-in-law Dianna Etienne.
He is survived by: his daughter Patrice Cobb; his grandchildren, Bredin, Bria, Braxton and Peace; his siblings, Emma Malveaux (Roland), Nita Malveaux, Catherine Malveaux, Lydia Comeaux, Stephanie Cluse (Keith) and Dalton Etienne; and his sisters-in-law, Theresa Etienne and Elaine Etienne.
