Patrick leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Patrick’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Patrick will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Mire and Henry Lewis; and his sister Sandra Compton. He is survived by: his wife Tracy of Lafayette; his children, Dana Lewis-Broussard (Faris) of Broussard and Dustin Lewis (Liza) of Katy, TX; his sisters, Geraldine Mouton and Adeline Broussard (Eugene); and his grandsons, Mason Broussard and Myles Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Walters Funeral Home (2424 N University Ave, Lafayette, LA 70507). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (145 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (355 Teurlings Dr, Lafayette, LA 70501).
