She was predeceased by: her husband Roosevelt Joseph Richard; her parents, Roual Cormier and Emily Menard Cormier; and her brother Clement Cormier. She is survived by: her children, Debra Demet (John), Charlene LeBlanc (Patrick), Brenda Vincent (Kevin) and Robert Richard (Kelly Wingfield); her grandchildren, Brian Demet, Melissa LeBlanc, Jennifer Demet, Lindsay Cabrol, Kevin Edward Vincent and Emily Richard; her great grandchildren, Trevaun Walters, Sydney Demet, Brice Demet, Ainslie Cabrol, Dustie Rae Cabrol and Coralie Vincent; and her friend Debbie Cormier (Patsy).
