We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Peggy Joyce Atkinson Lee of Lafayette, Louisiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Atkinson and Wilma Pearce; her husband Charles Ronald Lee; and her brother William Arthur Atkinson, Jr. (Billie Cummins Atkinson). She is survived by: her sons, Charles Edward "Ted" Lee (Felecia) and Ronald Kent Lee (Stacy); her grandchildren, Lindsey Lee Bumpus (Marshall), Charles Gregory Lee, John Charles Lee (Ariana) and Samantha Nicole Lee; and her niece Barbara Atkinson Stanfill. She is also survived by numerous nephews, and nieces.

Peggy taught school at Judice Elementary School for a couple of years then retired for 18 years to raise her two boys, Ted and Ron, only to then re-enter the teaching profession at the Reading Research Foundation School.
