He was predeceased by: his mother Mable M. Compton; his grandparents, Clarence Matthews, Lena Matthews, Euzebe P. Compton and Louise J. Compton; his aunts, Mary L. Williams and Vina Mae Williams; and his uncle Alvin J. Matthews.
He is survived by: his sons, Martrell Saint Anthony LeMalle of Beaumont, TX and Allandrew P. Compton of Lafayette, LA; his granddaughter Azari Dru Compton; his father John Clayton Compton; and his brothers, John T. Compton of Lafayette, LA and Nathaniel R. Compton of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (615 Edison St, Lafayette, LA 70501). A rosary will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
