He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Schexnayder and Emily Credeur; his significant other Gladys Doucet Schexnayder; his son-in-law Dwayne Putnam; and his siblings, Joyce Schexnayder Stelly, Thelma Schexnayder Leger, Reliss Schexnayder, Loyce Schexnayder, Marvin Schexnayder and Purgie Schexnayder.
He is survived by: his children, Deanna M. Putnam, Troy D. Schexnayder (Mary Georgette) and Keith J. Schexnayder (Leslie Whittington); his grandson Joshua P. Schexnayder; and his brothers, Roger Schexnayder of Midland, LA and Ravan Schexnayder of Rayne, LA..
