It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regina Prejean of Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Regina Prejean to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Prejean; her mother Ruby Genevieve McZeal; her sister Delores McConnell; and her niece Lacey Journet. She is survived by: her son Charles Reginald Prejean of Las Vegas, NV; her siblings, Gloria Dugas, Richard (Carlene Dugas) and Raymond (Laura Dugas); and her granddaughter Ava Lynn Prejean. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She went to work at the old charity Hospital, then U.M.C. after over 33yrears she retired, than a few years later she returned to nursing and worked at Cornerstone Nursing Home, and Lafayette Physical Rehab.
