He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hewitt Joseph Bordelon and Odele "Tibby" Tibodeaux Bordelon; and his siblings, Lewis Oscar Bordelon, Therese Bordelon Debaillon (Tommy) and Nanette Bordelon Bolton (Billy). He was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews.
In place of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Christian Center Church, where Rene was an enthusiastic member.
