With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Thomas Angelle of Lafayette, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 20, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Thomas Angelle to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Remy Angelle, Sr. and Stella Louviere Angelle (Louviere); and his brother Wilburn Remy Angelle, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hebert Angelle; and his children, Stuart Angelle (Debbie), Shane Angelle (Karen) and Roxane Thibodeaux (Guy). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory (108 Hardware Rd, Broussard, LA 70518). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Acadiana or a charity of your choice.
