He was predeceased by: his son Travis Aucoin; his parents, Louise Cloteaux and Clarence Aucoin, Sr.; his siblings, Marie Aucoin, Linda Picard, Karen Prejean, Clarence Aucoin, Jr. and Mark Boutin; and his grandparents, Lelia Abshire Cloteaux, Leo Paul Cloteaux, Eula Aucoin and Joseph Aucoin.
He is survived by: his son Richard Aucoin, Jr. (Dashawn); and his siblings, Shirley Boutte (Gerald), Mary Myers (Raphael, Sr.), Lelia Stelly, John Aucoin (Nancy), Darral Aucoin (Gail), Robert Aucoin, Sr. (Chastity), Kenneth Aucoin (Danny) and Louis Boutin Williams (Kendrick). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and one great-great-niece.
